Is the proxy slow?

Cloudflare edge → Anthropic adds ~30-50ms. Streaming responses pass through unbuffered.

Is my prompt content logged?

No. Only metadata: model, token count, timestamp. Verify in our open-source proxy code.

What if Anthropic adds native hard caps?

Spend Guardian remains useful for: multi-provider unified view (OpenAI + xAI + Gemini), insurance refunds, SMS alerts, team-wide visibility.

How does the insurance refund work?

If you're on the Insured tier and the proxy fails to enforce your cap (e.g. bug on our end), we refund up to $200 per incident from our reserve fund.

Can I self-host?

The CLI is OSS (MIT) and runs locally. The Worker proxy is closed-source for now. Open-source PRs welcome.
